The SC/ST Cell in DAV CTE, Koraput is a statutory body constituted in accordance with the UGC / AICTE guidelines and the Government of India’s constitutional safeguards for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students and staff. Its primary mandate is to foster an inclusive, discrimination-free campus where every member, irrespective of caste, enjoys equal academic, social, and professional opportunities. The vision is to create an equitable educational environment that empowers SC/ST learners to achieve their full academic and personal potential. The mission is to uphold the constitutional rights and dignity of SC/ST students and employees, Facilitate access to scholarships, remedial coaching, mentoring, and career guidance and act swiftly on grievances related to caste-based discrimination or harassment.
