Equity Opportunity Center

A learning environment where diversity is celebrated and structural barriers to success are dismantled. An Equity Opportunity Center (EOC), sometimes called an “Equal Opportunity Cell,” is an institutional mechanism that ensures every student and staff member—irrespective of gender, socioeconomic background, caste, tribe, religion, disability, or nationality—enjoys fair access to academic resources, co-curricular opportunities, and campus life. In India, its mandate aligns with: UGC’s XII Plan Guidelines on Equal Opportunity Centres (2012), Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 and National Education Policy 2020’s emphasis on equity & inclusion.
