Shaktishree Empowerment cell
To empower individuals, especially women and marginalized groups, by fostering self-confidence, leadership skills, equality, and holistic development, thereby creating a Shaktishree Empowerment cell rooted in dignity, respect, and opportunities for all.

IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of DAV CTE Koraput is established in the college to ensure continuous improvement in academic and administrative performance. It works to develop a quality culture among teachers, students, and staff. The IQAC regularly monitors teaching, learning, and evaluation processes to maintain high standards. It organizes seminars, workshops, and feedback sessions for quality enhancement. The cell also prepares and submits the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) and SSR to NAAC.

ICC
The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) in a college is established under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. Its primary role is to create a safe and inclusive environment by addressing complaints of sexual harassment. The ICC spreads awareness about gender sensitivity, conducts workshops, and ensures timely redressal of grievances. It plays a crucial role in upholding the dignity and rights of all students and staff on campus."

Anti-Ragging
DAV CTE, Koraput campus culture where respect, safety and camaraderie replace fear or humiliation. Ragging—any conduct that harasses, intimidates or abuses a newcomer or junior student—is a criminal offence under the UGC Regulations 2009, AICTE Notification 2017, and Section 116 of the Indian Penal Code (where applicable). To enforce these rules as a higher-education institution established a dedicated Anti-Ragging Cell (ARC). It prevents ragging through vigilant monitoring, swift action and zero-tolerance enforcement.

Sexual Harassment
The Sexual Harassment Cell at DAV College of Teacher Education (CTE), Koraput, has been established as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to provide a safe, secure, and dignified environment for all members of the college community, especially faculty women and female students.The cell aims to prevent and address all forms of harassment, particularly sexual harassment, within the campus.

Women
This cell functions as a dedicated body committed to ensuring women safety, empowerment and effective redressal of grievances related to gender-based issues.

Equity Opportunity Center
A learning environment where diversity is celebrated and structural barriers to success are dismantled. An Equity Opportunity Center (EOC), sometimes called an “Equal Opportunity Cell,” is an institutional mechanism that ensures every student and staff member—irrespective of gender, socioeconomic background, caste, tribe, religion, disability, or nationality—enjoys fair access to academic resources, co-curricular opportunities, and campus life. In India, its mandate aligns with: UGC’s XII Plan Guidelines on Equal Opportunity Centres (2012), Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 and National Education Policy 2020’s emphasis on equity & inclusion.

SC/ST
The SC/ST Cell in DAV CTE, Koraput is a statutory body constituted in accordance with the UGC / AICTE guidelines and the Government of India’s constitutional safeguards for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students and staff. Its primary mandate is to foster an inclusive, discrimination-free campus where every member, irrespective of caste, enjoys equal academic, social, and professional opportunities. The vision is to create an equitable educational environment that empowers SC/ST learners to achieve their full academic and personal potential. The mission is to uphold the constitutional rights and dignity of SC/ST students and employees, Facilitate access to scholarships, remedial coaching, mentoring, and career guidance and act swiftly on grievances related to caste-based discrimination or harassment.

Counselling
Student counselling in DAV CTE, Koraput plays a vital role in supporting the academic, emotional, and personal growth of young learners. The transition from school to higher education often brings new challenges, such as adapting to an unfamiliar environment, handling academic pressure, exploring career options, and maintaining healthy relationships. Counselling services help students navigate these challenges effectively.
