Anti-Ragging
DAV CTE, Koraput campus culture where respect, safety and camaraderie replace fear or humiliation. Ragging—any conduct that harasses, intimidates or abuses a newcomer or junior student—is a criminal offence under the UGC Regulations 2009, AICTE Notification 2017, and Section 116 of the Indian Penal Code (where applicable). To enforce these rules as a higher-education institution established a dedicated Anti-Ragging Cell (ARC). It prevents ragging through vigilant monitoring, swift action and zero-tolerance enforcement.
